THREE TYPES OF CONFIRMATIONS EXPLAINED
Temporary Confirmation Email
You will receive this type of confirmation when we can guarantee you a space upon your requested move-in date.
Tentative Confirmation Email
You will receive this type of confirmation when we cannot guarantee you a space upon your requested move-in date, but have one or more residents scheduled to tentatively move-out on or shortly after your requested move-in date.
Open or Paid Waiting List Confirmations
You will receive one of these types of confirmations when we cannot temporarily guarantee you a space and do not have one or more residents scheduled to tentatively move-out on or shortly after your requested move-in date. Therefore, it is recommended that you make temporary housing arrangements elsewhere to be assured you have a place to stay upon your arrival in San Diego. As soon as space becomes available, you may move immediately into Old Town Place.
Here are your waiting list options:
1. Open Waiting List
Because our availability can change unexpectedly, should we not be able to issue you a Temporary or Tentative Confirmation, you can submit your name to be listed on our Open Waiting List. If a resident cancels or departs early, creating an available space for you, we will email you immediately. Should you still need a place to live, simply reply to our email as quickly as possible. Your position will not be secured until we hear from you and receive a deposit.
2. Paid Waiting List
To secure your reservation, you must pay the refundable $250 Holding / Security & Damage Deposit in advance. By making this payment you will be guaranteed a numbered position on our Paid Waiting List. You also will receive an approximate move-in date.
You can use any of the payment methods listed on the Reservations page of this web site.
NOTE: We also have a Preferred Room Waiting List. This is a waiting list for residents who move into the first available space at Old Town Place but who are not living in their preferred bedroom.
